Work Suite Review | Google Apps

By | Google Apps, Uncategorized | No Comments

Though it doesn’t have as many advanced features as office suites based on desktop software, Google Apps one-ups Microsoft Office with its best-in-class collaboration features, dead-simple UI and ability to access your documents from any device. With prices of free (for individuals) or $5 or $10 per user per month for companies, Google’s service costs far less than Microsoft Office 365 and about the same as WPS Office 2016 Business ($45 / year, $80 one-time).

How to Turn Google into the Best To-Do App Ever

By | Google Apps | No Comments

FOR A CERTAIN kind of (slightly uptight) person, it’s easy to spend far more time futzing with your to-do list than actually, you know, doing the things on it. You can spend hours playing with new apps—Wunderlist! Todoist! Any.do! Asana!—and new methods—Kanban! GTD! Pomodoro! The Eisenhower Matrix! These are all real things! I understand that wonderful wash of organizational bliss that you get from taking all the crap on your floor and stacking it in neat piles.

Anytime there is big version jump then almost and always come out something pretty big to be found. A teardown shows that there are at least a few things to look out for, either now or in the future. This version appears to be rolling out through the beta channel, so if you want to check it out without signing up to the beta, or if it hasn’t rolled out to you yet, there’s a download link at the bottom. Sorry, this one doesn’t install on the N Preview.

Google prepared an amazing iPhone app which turns your live photos into GIFs

By | Google Apps | No Comments

Now Google added one more aap in their list that is iPhone app. This aap convert your live photos into incredible GIFs format. You can enjoy this feature when you save your photos into google photos section.  My entire picture library is inside Google Photos, which for a long time made Apple’s Live Photos feature on my iPhone 6S Plus rather useless. Google didn’t support the format until March, so if I wanted to preserve them before then, it required converting each Live Photo to a GIF using a third-party app, saving it to my phone’s gallery again, and deleting the original. Then it would get backed up to Google Photos as a GIF, which is something you can share far beyond Apple’s ecosystem. That’s why I still go the GIF route even now.
